About

bw-223.jpg

I’m a Hungarian-British visual artist based in the UK, working with photography and painting.

I moved from Hungary to the UK in 2010, and I think that experience has influenced the way I see things more than I realised at first. Ideas around belonging, distance, memory and home often find their way into my work.

I like simplicity and I don’t want to explain everything. In photography I’m often drawn to quiet, isolated moments, while painting gives me more freedom to work with colour, shape, texture and instinct.

The two can look very different, but for me they come from the same place. I make work from things I feel, notice or remember, and I prefer to leave enough space for other people to find their own meaning in it.
